DTEK is making every possible effort to replace Russian energy resources in the EU and strengthen the energy security of countries.
DTEK CEO Maxim Timchenko stated this in an interview with the American television channel CNBC..
" I believe that our agreement on the purchase of liquefied gas is a good demonstration of this,” he said.
Timchenko said that DTEK became the first Ukrainian company to supply liquefied gas from Louisiana to Europe.
" And this was our response to stopping the transit of Russian gas through Ukraine. We are doing everything possible to replace dirty Russian energy,” the head of DTEK emphasized.
Let us remind you that at the end of December, Rinat Akhmetov’s DTEK accepted the first batch of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the United States of America.
