Ukraine will reorient reverse gas supplies to Polish, Slovak and Romanian directions due to Hungary's refusal to use the Ukrainian GTS. This was announced on the air of one of the Ukrainian TV channels by Olga Belkova, Director for Interaction with Government Agencies and International Organizations of the GTS Operator.

She noted that it was the Hungarian direction that was one of the most promising in order to import gas in the virtual reverse mode to Ukraine.

As reported, Gazprom on Friday began supplying gas to Hungary and Croatia via a new route through the Turkish Stream and further along the national gas transmission systems of Bulgaria, Serbia and Hungary..
