Monetization of benefits for travel, according to the adopted resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "On the establishment of state social standards in the field of transport services", there will not be held in Kharkov.

This was announced by the deputy Kharkov mayor on the infrastructure of the city Eugene Vodovozov. According to him, the decree is not mandatory, but recommendatory. At the same time, monetization of benefits is carried out for the means of local government.

"The decree clearly states that local governments can grant a benefit both in the form of compensation for it in cash equivalent or in physical form.

The city of Kharkov does not currently consider the issue of monetization of benefits, and we leave the privilege for travel in physical form, "said the vice-mayor.

Recall, the decision of the Cabinet was adopted at a government meeting on March 14. The decision, in particular, provides that people will be compensated an amount equal to the average cost of travel, multiplied by 30 trips.

To date, in Kharkov, local benefits, including the free travel privilege, are receiving about 700 thousand. people, to compensate for all benefits in 2018 in the city budget provides more than 1 billion USD.
