Under the procedural guidance of the military prosecutor's office of the Lutsk garrison, a serviceman of one of the military units of Volyn was informed about the suspicion of the sale of ammunition without a legal permit (part. 1 st. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, on August 8, 2020, in the evening, the specified fighter, acting by prior conspiracy by a group of persons, carried, stored and sold 2 thousand pieces of small arms ammunition for 6 thousand hryvnia.
Now the investigative actions in criminal proceedings continue. The issues of choosing a preventive measure for a serviceman in the form of detention and removal from office are being resolved.
Pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings is carried out by the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Volyn region, operational support - by the anti-corruption and organized crime department of the SBU Directorate in the Volyn region.
