French artist Fanny Levhevalier (@fanny_lechevalier_l) created a series of works dedicated to the war in Ukraine. She combines pictures of Ukrainian photographers with famous paintings. Edition ZN. UA publishes a selection of the artist's works.

In the series, one can find a story about a couple who first saw each other in late April after the start of a full-scale invasion, soldiers near Izyum preparing dinner for their unit, soldiers in Bakhmut stopping at a kiosk.

For collages, the artist chose paintings by Edouard Manet, Edward Gopper, William Margetson, Bartolome Murillo, etc..
