US President Joe Biden said there are no plans to cut gas prices until early next year, CNN reports..

" I do not see anything that could have happened during this time, which would have significantly reduced gas prices, "

In his opinion, the high gas price is currently due to a number of factors, some of which are associated with foreign gas production..

" And this is due to the fact that OPEC is withholding supplies. And so there are many negotiations, many people from the Middle East who want to talk to me. I'm not sure I'm going to talk to them, "

An increase in gas supplies to Europe is possible - if tomorrow the German regulator gives permission for supplies via Nord Stream 2. This was announced by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

According to him, Russia will start supplying 17.5 billion cubic meters the next day.. Putin noted that American and Middle Eastern companies reduced gas supplies to Europe in 2021, and Gazprom increased gas supplies to non-CIS countries by 8.7%, or 11 billion cubic meters.
