According to the chairman of the parliamentary committee for European integration, Tamar Khulordava, from March 28 to April 27, 11700 citizens of Georgia used visa-free travel to the EU, and only 26 persons were denied entry.

"It was with great pleasure that I learned that at the entrance was refused for objective reasons," said Khulordava.

So, they refused to those who did not have a biometric passport or could not justify the purpose of their visit.

According to the deputy, the statistics of the first month is "very good", but the need to further inform citizens about the rules of "visa-free travel".
