Forward SKA Shipachev will leave for the NHL

Striker of the Russian national team Vadim Shipachev signed a contract with the club of the National Hockey League (NHL) from Las Vegas "Vegas Golden Knights". This is reported on the team's website. The contract with the 30-year-old forward is designed for two years. Under the agreement, Shipachev, who signed the contract as a free agent, will earn an average of $ 4.5 million per season. At the moment, Shipachev is in the location of the Russian national team, which on Friday, May 5, with a match with Sweden will start at the World Cup 2017. The last club of the hockey player was St. Petersburg SKA, with whom he twice won the Gagarin Cup (2015, 2017). The club from Las Vegas was admitted to the NHL last June.

The team will start performing in the league next season in the Pacific Division of the Western Conference. At the moment, "Golden Knights", in addition to Shipachev, has signed a contract with another hockey player - 21-year-old Canadian striker Reid Duke. This summer will be an expansion draft, where "Vegas" will be able to complete the composition. The club will choose one player in each of the 30 NHL teams.
