In Paris in the area of ??the Champs-Elysees on Thursday evening, April 20, there was a shooting. Two police officers were killed, two more people were injured, according to Bloomberg.
The police reported that the patrols were attacked near the Franklin Roosevelt metro station. When the police car stopped at a red traffic light, an armed man came out of the next car and opened fire on the policemen. One officer was killed on the spot, the second died later in the hospital.
The armed criminal was eliminated during the shootout.
The police have already identified the identity of the attacker and are investigating the incident as a terrorist act.
