The Verkhovna Rada adopted a resolution on holding early elections of the Kharkiv mayor. They will be held on October 31, 2021.

249 MPs voted for the document.

The Cabinet of Ministers, within the framework of its powers, was obliged to take measures to finance the elections at the expense of targeted subventions from the state budget.
