Police of Maldives have arrested two judges of the Supreme Court

According to the local edition of Awas, the heads of the prosecutor's office, police and the Maldivian armed forces said that they can remove President Abdullah Yamin from power and will not obey an "unconstitutional" decision.



Recall, the Supreme Court of Maldives decided to cancel the sentences of a number of political leaders, including the former president of the country Mohammed Nasheed, and restored the membership in the parliament of 12 oppositionists.

On Monday, Maldivian President Abdullah Yamin announced the state of emergency for 15 days in the republic after such a decision of the Supreme Court and the dissemination of information about possible impeachment.
