It is reported that polling stations will work until three in the afternoon, then counting of votes will start. At the moment, there are two candidates for the post of head of state left in the race - the incumbent head of state Milos Zeman and the former president of the Academy of Sciences Jiri Dragosh.

According to preliminary information, the leader of the last round of the race was scandalously known for his statements in the lifting of sanctions against Russia and the recognition of the Crimea by Milos Zeman, who was able to collect almost 40 percent of the electorate votes, his rival gained only 27 percent, but at the moment the chances of both candidates equaled.

Recall that the president in the Czech Republic has limited powers, including in the field of foreign policy.

As reported in URA-Inform, the head of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman once again instructed the premier Andrei Babish to form the Cabinet of Ministers.
