Veterans, veteran women and family members of fallen defenders can now apply for several government services using one application on the Diya portal. The new service allows you to simultaneously submit documents for status, cash assistance and social services without visiting various institutions.

According to Sviridenko, previously, to receive each service it was necessary to submit separate applications. For example, first register the status of a person with a disability due to war, wait for a decision, and then separately apply for one-time cash assistance.

Now these procedures are combined into one electronic application. Using the new service you can simultaneously:.

The service can be used by military personnel, persons discharged from military service and family members of fallen defenders.. You can also submit an application on behalf of the child of a deceased serviceman.

To complete the application, you must complete the following steps:

The application will be reviewed within up to 30 calendar days, depending on the services ordered. The result will be sent by email and to the citizen’s personal account on the Diya portal in the “Services” section – “Ordered services”.

After confirming the status, the data is entered into the Unified State Register of War Veterans. If the applicant is awarded a one-time monetary assistance, the funds will be transferred to the bank account specified when submitting the application.
