The diplomat said that Russia should bear full responsibility for what was done in the east of Ukraine, the press service of the department.

According to Rinkevics, the Ukrainian issue should remain at the heart of the OSCE agenda, given the important role of the organization in the prevention and resolution of conflicts.

Also the most important issue is the deterioration of the human rights situation in the Crimea - especially with restrictions on the human rights and fundamental freedoms of the Crimean Tatars from the beginning of the implementation of the Russian annexation of the Crimean peninsula.

"Russia should bear full responsibility for its aggressive actions in Ukraine," Rinkevics is convinced.

As previously reported in URA-Inform, the US government will leave in force the prohibited measures against Russia until the time when the Crimea returns to the Ukrainian state.
