Lithuania intends to transfer weapons to Ukraine for two million euros

Its cost can be 1.93 million euros. As reported on Monday morning, November 27, Radio Liberty, this is stated in the draft decree of the Government of Lithuania. The document was prepared by the Ministry of Defense of the Baltic State and published on the electronic parliament page.

According to the resolution, Ukraine can get more than seven thousand Kalashnikov assault rifles, almost two million cartridges, more than 80 machine guns, several mortars, anti-tank weapons and other military equipment.

At the moment, the draft resolution of the Government of Lithuania is submitted for consideration to the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, Lithuania presented a plan for financial assistance to the European Union to Ukraine, informally called the "new Marshall Plan". The document says that for ten years, politicians have offered to allocate to Ukraine, starting in 2018, 50 billion euros of assistance to encourage small and medium-sized businesses.
