Memorial plaque graduate Vladislav Blinov, who died in the ATU zone, was opened today, November 20, on the facade of the Kharkiv secondary school № 97 (ul. Guardsmen Shironintsev, 5-d).

Blinov Vladislav Evgenyevich was born in Kharkov. From 1986 to 1994 he studied at school №97. He graduated from the Kharkov Textile Technical School, in 1998 he was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In August 2014, Vladislav Blinov was mobilized and sent to the 92nd separate mechanized brigade in the village of Klugino-Bashkirovka in the Kharkiv region. Within a month the brigade was sent to the ATU zone. The soldiers occupied the extreme position on the border with the occupied territory near the town of Schastye, Lugansk region.

Senior sergeant, deputy commander of the platoon of the 4th mechanized company of the 2nd mechanized battalion of the 92nd Brigade, Vladislav Blinov, was killed on April 5, 2015 during the firing by terrorists of a strongpoint on the outskirts of Happiness (as a result of a rocket falling into a mine barrier an explosion occurred). The hero of ATU in Merefa is buried.

Vladislav Blinov was posthumously awarded the Order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky III degree, as well as the non-state award "People's Hero of Ukraine" for his personal courage and high professionalism, shown at the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine..

Now the son of the hero is studying at school # 97 - Denis Blinov.
