The hearings on the extradition of Spain were held today and lasted several hours, the court hearing on the extradition of Puchdemon was postponed to the following week. In addition, the Belgian prosecutor at the hearing asked the court to apply the European warrant for the arrest of the ex-president.
The Ministry of Justice of Belgium is confident that the Puchdemon case is very politicized, so that its consideration can be delayed, since it is necessary to take into account the entire evidentiary base and keep the parties and the plaintiffs entitled to defend their position in court.
