The UN Security Council continued the mission in Iraq for a year

The resolution pays much attention to the presence of the terrorist group "Islamic State" in Iraq, which "poses a threat to the country". The UN Security Council stressed that the only way to counter this threat is the common work of the Iraqis over the solution of the security problem and in the political sphere of their country.

And the resolution emphasizes that for the long-term solution of the instability problem, the political leadership of Iraq must make decisions that unite the country.
