The defense industry offered the Russian Federation Ministry of Defense the option of promptly rebuilding the country's missile defense shield, which would close the whole of Russia with an anti-missile dome. This was reported by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin.
"The industry and military science managed to offer the Ministry of Defense a rational option for promptly rebuilding the country's missile shield, including the ground and space echelon, and with the completion of the Unified Space System, Russia will be a closed missile-dome," he said..
As previously reported, Russian President Vladimir Putin earlier in an interview with director Oliver Stone said that the US missile defense system does not cover the entire territory of the United States.
