Nextbike bicycle rental starts in Kiev. The test launch is scheduled for August 14-15, according to the project website.

There will be 27 rental stations in the capital: near the Pochaynaya, Levoberezhnaya, Poznyaki, Osokorki, Kharkov, Minsk, Heroes of the Dnieper, Obolon, Lukyanovskaya, Podol, center, Rusanovka and Troeschyna.

The stations will be virtual, without terminals. The city is already marking stations. The bicycle will need to be parked within the marking and put a special lock on the rear wheel.

Rent a bicycle can be using a mobile application. It scans the QR code or enters the bike number. Then the lock automatically opens. Return the bike only to the official station. For improper parking penalty 100 hryvnia.

Seasonal tariff costs 599 UAH. It is valid until November 30. The cost of the trip is calculated in the same way as in the tariff for the month.

For continuous use of the bicycle for more than 12 hours, a fee of 1000 hryvnia. Not returning the bike within 24 hours is considered stealing. In this case, the user is blocked in the system, a fine of 15 thousand. UAH, and relevant procedural actions are carried out.

This bike rental system operates in 150 cities around the world. In Ukraine, it works in Lviv and Vinnitsa.
