Poland should not exclude any support for Ukraine, including the option of sending peacekeeping troops to our country, Senate Vice-Marshal Magdalena Bejat, associated with the New Left party, is convinced.. “Poland should not reject the possibility of the participation of the Polish contingent in stabilizing peace in Ukraine,” Bejat said. “We, like Poland, are interested in security in Ukraine.”.
She noted that this would require agreeing on many issues, “a million details”. But both Beyat herself and the New Left believe that this idea cannot be rejected.
Zelensky named the conditions for the deployment of a peacekeeping contingent in Ukraine.
Bejat also believes that the New Left has the best approach to Ukrainian-Polish relations, based on honesty, pragmatism and empathy.

In her opinion, Warsaw and Kyiv should build a future based on the idea that together they are stronger, but in both countries there are politicians who, for the sake of domestic political interests, “warm up” elements that provoke hostility - the controversy surrounding the Order of the White Eagle once again confirmed this. Therefore, Beyat insists that it is politicians who must make efforts to reduce the degree of tension in this issue, since Ukrainian society is not to blame.
