Here, cybercriminals used surrogate alcohol in plastic bottles. As reported in the police communications department of Kiev, law enforcement officers conducted searches in kiosks and shops and found about 450 liters of surrogate alcohol, which was stored in plastic bottles and sold from under the counter.

Also, more than 300 bottles of alcoholic beverages have been exhausted, excise marks of which had signs of forgery. The police opened a criminal case on this fact. The person involved in the implementation of the surrogate faces up to seven years in prison.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, law enforcement officers in the capital and the region recently conducted 14 authorized searches. During the event, 12 tons of surrogate alcohol were seized.
