The court refused the UOC-MP to secure a claim against eviction from the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra

The Economic Court of Kyiv denied the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP) to secure a claim against the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra reserve, in which representatives of the UOC-MP oppose being evicted from the premises of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. The court decision, published on March 30, was announced by the Minister of Culture Alexander Tkachenko in Telegram.

The UOC-MP is going to appeal the decision, Archpriest Nikita Chekman, lawyer of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, said in a commentary to the Public.
