In the Dnieper, the procedure for introducing a new head of the National Police of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region was launched, MP Anton Geraschenko.
The National Police of Dnepropetrovsk will be headed by the former head of the Dnipro Institute of Internal Affairs Vitaly Glukhovera. His deputy was previously appointed acting head of the National Police of the region, head of the patrol police of the Dnieper Vladimir Bogonis.
The head of the National Police of Ukraine, Sergey Knyazev, also announced the removal from his duties of the chief of the Melitopol police for violations committed during the protection of public order on May 9, similar to the events in the Dnieper.
