More than a thousand volcanic plates disappeared from the central streets of Odessa

Odessa citizens captured the facts of the theft of volcanic plates (stones) in the center of the city. This was written by the activist of the public organization Green List Svetlana Acceding, reports the reporter.

According to Podpaloy, unidentified pick plates at night. Thefts took place on the streets of Nezhinskaya, Koblevskaya, Spiridonovskaya and others.

"Especially they are stolen on Nezhinskaya and Artema. According to my estimates, more than 1,000 stones have already disappeared, "- noted the activist.

Volcanic plates in Odessa were built in the first half of the XIX century. Stones were brought in the holds of ships from Italy - these are lava pieces of the famous Vesuvius.
