The situation with the shortage of school teachers is duplicated in preschool institutions - there are not enough educators.

This information was provided by the Director of the Department of Education and Science of the City Council Elena Buinevich.

According to her, today there are about 50 vacancies for kindergarten teachers from 3,500 bets.

The shortage of personnel is largely due to the cancellation of the compulsory working off of pedagogical higher education graduates by graduates, which earlier allowed to have a guaranteed replenishment of the teaching staff. In this regard, the burden on existing caregivers increases.

Where there is a shortage of staff, educators have to work in two shifts, that is, one caregiver from seven in the morning until seven in the workplace, "says Elena Buinevich.

Recall that the situation with schools is even more difficult - at the moment opened 300 jobs out of 6,500 bets.
