Moscow also intends to raise the issue of stopping electricity supplies at the talks in Minsk.

Russia intends to provide uninterrupted power supply to the OPLO, where, from today, Kiev cut off electricity for debts. This was stated to Interfax by Plenipotentiary Representative of the Russian Federation in the Tripartite Contact Group for the Settlement of the Situation in Eastern Ukraine Boris Gryzlov.

According to him, residents of the occupied territories allegedly can not pay for electricity because of the economic blockade.

"In accordance with the actions of the Government of Ukraine, the Government of the Russian Federation decided to provide electricity from the Russian Federation in the framework of humanitarian support," Gryzlov said..

He also noted that the issue of suspending the supply of electricity to Ukraine by the residents of ORLO will be raised tomorrow in Minsk in the economic subgroup.

Recall, yesterday, the National Energy Company Ukrenergo reported that since April 25, electricity supply to the territory of the OPLO is ending. The company was informed that the decision was made in connection with the lack of payment for supplied and consumed electricity.

In turn, Deputy Minister for Temporary Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons Georgy Tuka stated that the debt of Lugansk and Donetsk regions for energy supply of the region is 11 billion hryvnia: 5.2 billion and 5.8 billion, respectively.
