In the first round of the competition, the Ukrainian defeated the representative of Argentina, Luisina Giovannini, with a score of 6:2, 6:0.
The game lasted 1 hour 5 minutes. During the match, Oleynikova did not serve a single ace, made two double faults, but successfully completed all six break points.
In the next round, the Ukrainian will meet the winner of the pair Julia Riera (Argentina) - Polona Hercog (Slovenia).
