Head coach of the US national team Mauricio Pochettino can sign a new long-term contract after the team’s successful performance at the home World Cup 2026. talkSPORT reports about this.
According to Dzherel, the US Football Federation has already given the 54-member Argentinean team a new, ironic favor. If the parties achieve residual home ownership, Pochettino will work for the minimum amount until the end of the 2030 World Cup cycle.
It also means that the new contract could give the coach the opportunity to defeat the American team in the 2028 Olympic Games football tournament, which will be held in Los Angeles.
