Belgium national team goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois shared his thoughts on the upcoming match against Iran at the 2026 World Cup.
The goalkeeper has identified the strengths of his upcoming opponent and chanted that he should prepare as much as possible before the match.
" “They’re good at hitting the goal, they know how to score goals and cause trouble at the hour of crosses, so I’ll be ready for anything,” said Courtois.
Behind the goalkeeper’s words, the coaching staff added respect to the analysis of the Iranian team and other players.
“We also worked on these goalie coaches: we analyzed all goalkeepers and assessed their strengths. I’m preparing myself and trying to prepare until any development hits the field,” said the Belgian.
