Goalkeeper from Ukraine Nazar Domchak expressed his opinion on the move from the Lviv Carpathians to Slavia Prague.

The day before, the 19-year-old goalkeeper officially became a player for the reigning Czech champions, signing a contract until the summer of 2031.

" As soon as I heard about their interest, I went online and watched videos of the matches. The atmosphere, the fans - it was incredible.

I already had the opportunity to see the stadium in person, it is really beautiful. And, of course, Slavia is the strongest club in the Czech Republic, they became champions this year, so congratulations to everyone. I have great motivation to work hard, achieve results and make the fans happy.

I hope the adaptation will go very quickly. I'm working on taking a step forward and going from the Carpathians to Slavia is a really big step forward. As for adaptation, I think there will be no problems.

The coaching staff was very friendly from day one, the athletic director told me I could call anytime.

Everyone wants to help me feel at home as soon as possible. And I will do everything to make this happen as quickly as possible,” Slavia’s official website quotes Domchak as saying..

We would like to remind you that this season Domchak played 29 matches for Karpaty in all tournaments, conceding 28 goals, and kept his goal intact in 15 matches.
