The Belgian superstar Napoli Kevin de Bruyne shared his thoughts about the uncontested victory of the Italian national team at the World Cup 2026.
" It is not easy to win a leather match, and small national teams can form a good team and get results. Of course, for a country like Italy, not spending money on the world championship is a huge waste. “But you won’t change anything,” said the Belgian.
De Bruyne also warned of possible problems for Italian football: “It’s possible that Italian football is in crisis. If you don’t attend three championships after an emergency, maybe so. But I don’t know the details, I don’t know the structure and philosophy - from work from youth to the highest level. I can’t say it in a sing-song way.
Apparently, in the finals of the playoff of qualification for the 2026 emergency, Italy lost to Bosnia and Herzegovina in a penalty shootout, where the Bosnians emerged stronger.
