Liverpool manager Virgil van Dijk commented on the failure in the match against Wolverhampton (1:2). The main outsider of the championship won the match with the Merseysiders, scoring the winning goal in the 94th quarter.
In an interview with TNT Sports, van Dijk explicitly stated the reasons for the failure:.
" We played long and hard, played with the ball a lot, and made a decision not far away. The supernik didn’t create so many chances, but if you play like this, it can be like this forever. A very rosy pouch"
Arne Slot's team is fifth in the table with 48 points. “Vovki” will lose 16 points at the last match, six of which the team got from the two remaining teams.
