Stuttgart head coach Sebastian Gennes commented on his team's victory in the first playoff match of the European League against Celtic (4:1).
“The princes understood what was at stake and showed a very concentrated and focused group. There were moments when we were under pressure and had to defend as a team, and we gained.
We played with great ball control for a long time and showed what we didn’t get in the important European Cup matches of this season - behind Deventeri’s fault - we demonstrated effectiveness. As a result, we scored a very important goal, which made the result even more decisive. Cebula deserved victory victory.
Now we want to consolidate the success of the new season and exit the new round. Ale we won’t bother to make amends, thinking that everything has already been decided. “We will be ready and we will be prepared for duty,” the club’s press service quotes Gennes.
