Tottenham and Argentina centre-back Cristian Romero could face a longer ban after the FA ruled against him. Reported by Sky Sports.
Romero took away his friend's card in the lead-up to the match of the 17th round against Liverpool, which ended with a defeat of Tottenham with a score of 1:2. This automatically brought up a side footballer for the upcoming match against Crystal Peles. However, the Argentine gravel can recover additional punishment through improper behavior on the field and the confrontational actions of arbitrator John Brooks after the forfeiture.
The FA statement states that Romero has an hour until Friday, 2 June 2026, so that the call will be issued..
This season, the central defender played 19 matches for Tottenham, starting 18 times, scoring three goals, three assists, and winning one red card..
