The head coach of the Croatian national team, Zlatko Dalic, commented on his team’s victory in the 2026 Emergency Selection match over the Faroe Islands (3:1), which allowed the “teamers” to qualify for the World Cup.
" And for all the sick people - there was a wonderful atmosphere and a festive holiday.
The first time is not far away. We were stressed, spent a lot of balls and made bad decisions. This is the first time in a long time, since the Faroe Islands lost by two goals. Once again I’m telling everyone - now we’re focusing on the match against Montenegro.
Regardless of the fact that we were tortured before, we were always played in a lot of hells. Today we tried something else, but the pobudova gris with three zakhishniki takes time - but we don’t have anything. I won't bother anyone anymore.
I know what brought me to the World Championships before. Gra in chotiri zahisniki earned me the same coach as I am. Now we are focusing on preparing for the World Cup,” the UEFA press service quotes Dalich as saying..
