The parties agreed not to continue the contract.
The Romanian Football Federation on its official website announced the departure of the national team's head coach Edward Yordenescu.
The 46-year leader's contract ended this summer and the parties decided not to continue the agreement with the initiative of Edward himself, who wanted to take a break.

At the last Euro 2024, Romania won a sensational victory over Ukraine (3:0) and qualified for the playoffs, losing to the Netherlands (0:3).
Additionally, the Romanian ZMI previously reported that the new mentor of the national team could be the great mentor of Shakhtar and Dynamo Mircea Lucescu.
