Portuguese footballer Carlos Queiroz has lost his position as head coach of the national team Ghania. The Football Association of Ghani has announced four outvoted agreements about the extension of the contract.
This is another exit of the 73-year coach from the team for the remaining three months - he turned to the Black Stars just on the beginning of spring, having previously left his post after losing the team from the World Championship 2026 in Lipny.
Queiroz's other tenure lasted less than a month and ended with a disastrous start to the 2027 African Cup of Nations qualifying team.. This year, Ghana scored a notable defeat against Cote d'Ivoire (0:2), and then sensationally lost to the Gambia at home in Accra with a score of 2:4.

In the end, Ghana sits in the remaining place in qualifying group C, missing a desired point before the fall matches against Somalia.
In his official statement, Queiroz emphasized that the decision was not easy, but rather than applying the best possible outcome in the interests of Ghanaian football. Suddenly the trainer came across problems with the organization and management of the processes:.
