The great head coach of Liverpool, Chelsea, Newcastle and Everton Rafael Benitez shared his thoughts about the England team ahead of the match with Spain in the final of the 2024 European Championship. Quote from the proven fakhiv AS.
“When I arrived in England, coach of the national team Eriksson, there were already rumors about those who would become more balanced between Gerrard and Lempard. Alas, there were no tactics. Little by little we, foreigners, pinned them on the English.
I put Gerrard right-handed, and Capello left-handed, until I moved him behind Fernando Torres. Axis, for example, Scott Parker was a wonderful gravel, just like Rice. “There’s no stench of pure positional addiction,” Benitez said..
