Parma hosted Napoli in the 35th round of the Italian Serie A. Despite the status of outsiders among the “crusaders”, they managed to get an important victory over a more formidable opponent thanks to two realized penalties (2: 1).
Interestingly, the extremely positive and in some places sensational result allowed Parma to guarantee himself the preservation of his registration in the top division of Italy. Napoli missed the opportunity to catch up with Milan in the standings and remained in seventh place.
