A series of failures after the quarantine turned Parma from an applicant for a ticket to the Europa League into a potential contender for relegation, but the victory over Napoli in the 35th round guaranteed the “crusaders” survival.
Before the break and immediately after it, the teams exchanged precise shots from the “point”, and when Napoli's pressure on Parma's gates began to grow towards the end of the meeting, the hosts earned another penalty, which was also converted.
Napoli missed the opportunity to catch up with Milan and remained in seventh place.
