Monaco midfielder Cesc Fabregas recalled the period of 2003, when at the age of 15 he planned to move to England. A talented Spaniard signed a contract with Arsenal, although he received an offer from Manchester United.
" I had to make several trips - to London and Manchester. When in mid-June I arrived at the Gunners base in Kolney, everyone was on vacation, and Wenger was in Paris. He flew in a private plane to meet me. "
" Thought: Wow. I’m 15 years old, I can’t imagine anything, but here such a person interrupts his vacation in order to meet with me. We talked, he talked with my mom, showed me the training base, and I fell in love with the Arsenal project, "
Recall that earlier Cesc Fabregas said that he would forever remain the “man of the Arsenal”, despite the period of his career in Chelsea.
