Malaga and Leganes agreed on a lease for a year for Uruguayan striker Michael Santos.
Coach "anchovies" Juan Ramon Muniz wanted the 25-year-old Uruguayan stayed in Malaga and helped the team to return to the example, but the football player flatly refused to play another year in Segunda.
Malaga acquired Santos in 2016 at River Plate for 4.5 million euros, but, having played just 14 matches (3 goals) for the "anchovies", Michael season-2017/2018 was leased in Sporting X (36 matches, 17 goals).
