Wolverhampton signed a contract with goalkeeper Portugal Rui Patriciu, the official website of the "wolves".

The agreement with the 30-year-old Portuguese is designed for four years. According to the Portuguese media, the goalkeeper went to the English club for free, as he earlier terminated the contract with Sporting.

Before that, Sporting refused to sell Patricia to Wolverhampton for 18 million euros.

Patricio is a pupil of the Lisbon Sporting Academy, where he spent his entire professional career. In total for "lions" he played 460 fights.

In the last season, Patriciu spent 56 matches for Sporting in all tournaments, in which he missed 48 goals and kept his goal "dry" 23 times.

In addition, he has 70 matches for Portugal, with whom he now performs at the 2018 World Cup.
