Results of a large-scale special operation that revealed a grandiose corruption scheme in Ukrainian football was summed up by Francesco Baranka.

"Yesterday read a lot of comments and opinions on the situation. Many wrote that it was a sad day for Ukrainian football. But this was his rebirth ".

"I'm just a small part of this. This operation is a merit of Pavelko, who became the only one among the presidents who decided not to turn away from the problem. Also this operation is the merit of Kholodnitsky. He connected the FFU with the health authorities. And this operation is the merit of the Ethics Committee, which cooperated closely on this issue. For months we were forced to remain silent. The conduct of the arbitrators, players and presidents will be assessed, and then sentences will be imposed. We should already be proud of the work done ".

"Over the course of the year, we discovered that the number of match-fixing matches is increasing. We were the first in the world who banned the stakes on U-19. We introduced a provision such as punishment for non-disclosure of the fact of an offense. We will continue to implement even more violent measures ".

"For a year we did not have any suspicions about the matches of the ULP".
