Club French League 1 Lille may be downgraded in class due to serious financial problems.

As it became known earlier, the administrative body, which monitors the economic situation of French clubs, banned Lillou to buy players during the January transfer window.

Moreover, the club is in such poor financial condition that they can be lowered in the classroom at the end of this season, even if they manage to get out of the relegation zone.

According to France Football, Lillou needs to collect 25 million euros until spring to avoid an automatic flight to League 2.

After 17 rounds Lille scored 18 points and takes 18th place in the standings of League 1.
