The former mentor of Dortmund Borussia Thomas Tukhel can lead Southampton.
The days of Puel at the helm of the Saints are numbered - wrote Daily Express. According to the publication, at the moment the club's management is discussing with the French specialist the amount of compensation for the early termination of the contract.
The reasons for dismissal are the uneasy relations of the coach with the fans of the club, as well as his quarrel with several team players.
As reported by The Sun, an ideal replacement for Puel Southampton sees in the ex-trainer of Dortmund Borussia Thomas Tuchel.
The specialist was dismissed from his post at the end of the season, and is currently in search of work.
Earlier, Tuhel stated that he wanted to find a club exclusively in Germany. Nevertheless, the proposal from the Saints may be very interesting for him.
