The current contract of 36-year-old Raimondi with Atalanta expires on June 30 this year.
"No matter how the season ends, it can be considered successful. The team scored a record number of points in Serie A, and this is the best season of Atalanta in history, "- said Raimondi.
"This is my last season. When I joined Atalanta, I dreamed of returning the club to Serie A. If we go to the European Cup, then this will be a real triumph ".

Raimondi joined Atalanta in August 2010, and this season he played only eight matches in Serie A and the Italian Cup, scoring one goal.
