Former two-division world champion Lawrence Okolie speaks out about his positive test for banned substances, which led to the cancellation of his fight with Tony Yoka.
The British boxer stressed that the drugs could have entered his body as a result of treatment for an injury, and expressed hope that he would be acquitted.
" I went through treatment and here we are..
I sincerely hope common sense prevails.
I will of course co-operate fully with all relevant authorities and am confident that any investigation will vindicate me. I will not be making any further comments at this time.. Thank you all for your support, see you soon,” Okoli wrote on Instagram.
Okolie intends to do two things as one in fights with two left-handed boxers. News on Telegram and WhatsApp. Subscribe to our channels https://t. me/korrespondentnet and WhatsApp.
