Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo shared his thoughts on the role of talent in football, revealed his goal and rivalry with Lionel Messi.
" To become an effective scorer, you must first have talent. Without this, nothing will work. But talent without work is useless. Nothing and never just falls from the sky. I would never get where I was without hard work.
Rivalry with Messi in Spain allowed us to become better, more efficient. In “Real” I felt more his presence than in Manchester, I felt more pressure. But it was a healthy rivalry.
My goal is to stay young, getting older. I want to be competitive as long as possible. Show me a soccer player of my age who plays at the same level as me and on the same team as Juventus, ”said Cristiano, quoted by France Football.
Recall that Ronaldo claims the “Golden Ball” from France Football, the winner will be announced on December 2.
